About NucleusLabs
NucleusLabs Information Technologies (Canada) Ltd was formed in the summer of 2000 by four (4) core founders with diverse but complementary backgrounds. NucleusLabs started out developing custom software for telephone companies, Internet software and mining/exploration companies. By 2004, NucleusLabs had created a healthcare software division that worked with the visionary team at the BC Centre for Ability in Vancouver. Since then, we have deployed many applications across all health regions in BC and the Yukon. We now have numerous clinical/therapy staff, program directors and executive directors from all corners of the Province, with many tens of thousands of client records managed on the ECR System.
Today, NucleusLabs is an employee-owned, Canadian Corporation company with several staff that have been working together since 1996. Our staff expertise encompasses software development, database development, systems analysis, technical infrastructure, and client support. We are dedicated parents and participating community members.
We Understand…
NucleusLabs has staff with family members with special needs in MCFD and other government funded programs. Every staff member at NucleusLabs has been touched in some form with an affliction (either themselves or their direct families), which gives us a unique understanding of what challenges and obstacles hinder effective service delivery in Canada. Our ongoing goal is to assist our agency clients in overcoming some of these challenges so they can spend more time working directly with the children and families they serve and less time on administrative time-consuming work.
Service is Key…
NucleusLabs pride ourselves not only on our software solutions, but on our service. We have been fortunate enough to personally meet and train over 98% of our users, thus receiving their feedback firsthand which directly impacts the evolution of the ECR System. We understand your terminology, jargon, documentation, workflow, and more importantly the direct work you do with children and families.
To everyone we have met over the years, we would like to say thank you for your time, input and insight. Learning of the obstacles you have personally overcome serving the children and families in your community, has given us a greater appreciation of the tireless effort you provide to make a difference in a child’s life.
